The Downer Queenstown ITS team are looking for an experienced electrical engineer to join their team. At Downer, you'll be hands-on with the latest in Intelligent Transport Systems, ensuring our roads are smarter, safer, and more efficient.
As an electrical engineer you will be responsible for:
Establishing delivery and installation schedules for machines, switchgear, cables and fittingsSupervising the operation and maintenance of power stations, transmission and distribution systems and industrial plantsInterpreting specifications, drawings, standards and regulations relating to electric power equipment and useOrganising and managing resources used in the supply of electrical components, machines, appliances and equipmentThis is a guaranteed Full-Time role – minimum 40 hours per week
Pay range: $40 - $47 per hour

You must have:
A qualification in electrical engineering, (NZQF Level 7 or higher)Class 1 full licenseFlexibility is needed as this role will require some night shift work and travel/working away3 years relevant experience in power electronic design or equivalentBeneficial for the role:
