In this role, you will play a key part in designing and supporting both new and existing electronic products. From initial concept through production and post-launch support, you'll have hands-on involvement in every phase of the product lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment and enjoys working on a diverse range of projects across embedded hardware and software design. Key Responsibilities: + **Design and Development:** Lead the end-to-end design of embedded systems including requirements definition, component selection, schematic design, PCB layout, and embedded firmware development. + **Prototyping and Testing:** Create and evaluate functional prototypes. Perform verification and validation testing to ensure product quality, reliability, and compliance with industry standards. + **Software Development:** Write and debug embedded software using C/C++ for microcontrollers and processors. + **Documentation and Production:** Prepare and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, test procedures, and production manuals. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to transition products to mass production. + **Sustaining Engineering:** Provide technical support for existing products. Implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve legacy systems.
