Job Description:

As a Senior Industrial Electrical Engineer, you will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex electrical systems in industrial environments. This role involves ensuring compliance with safety standards, optimizing system performance, and supporting capital projects from concept through execution. You'll collaborate cross-functionally to drive innovation, improve reliability, and support continuous improvement initiatives across facilities.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Safety: Unwavering commitment to ensuring our systems are developed with safety as 1st priority Ensure robust engineering processes are in place and adhered to: ie, applicable internal / external Electrical Codes, NEC, regulations, Hazops, DOE’s, SOP’s etcDesign of electrical panels using CAD software to create schematics, wiring diagrams and BOMsFabrication of proof of concepts, prototypes and production level systemsCreation of test plans to ensure the highest quality and safety for electrical panels and systemsDocumentation for systems (part, assy, BOMs) adhering to best practices for revision control Performing maintenance and upgrades for systems installed in field and document revision changesCreation of project plans, designs of experiments (DOE) and revision controlled documentationParticipation in the AT&S established Performance Management Process (PMP)Documenting results and findings into reports, emails, databases in an organized & accurate mannerProject plans executed and completed on-time & within budget in accordance with the AT&S PDPDevelop and maintain good working relationships with functional leaders across Airgas & Air LiquideEvaluation and protection of Intellectual Property (IP), working with legal department, and engineering teams, as required, to write/submit patentable inventionsManage internal/external research collaborationsCollaboration with Quality & Regulatory Teams to ensure products are developed and validated in a manner that complies with applicable local and global regulatory agencies (FCC, UL, Intertek)Development and maintenance of business critical relationships including consultants and vendorsBusiness Travel up to 10%

Skills & Qualifications

Control Panel, Control Panel Design, Autocad, Electrical design, electrical code, NEC, electrical panel, wiring diagrams, UL standards, hazopsMinimum of 5 years of experience in product development technical roles within US (or global companies) that develop, manufacture and support industrial electrical and control systemsExperience and/or Knowledge of the following:Engineering Software (AutoCAD &/or SolidWorks Electrical)Electrical Instrumentation (Oscilloscope, DVM, Power analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers)Reliability & Environmental TestingElectrical Standards & Codes (NEC, UL, FCC)

Bonus Experience/Qualifications:

Professional Engineer License is a plusUnderstanding of International, specifically Canadian, electrical codes is a plusExperience with robotics is a plus

SCHEDULE: 4X10 Monday-Thursday

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $160000.00/yr.
