Job Requirements

Knowledge & Skills requirements:

Design experience in MV/LV system and associated equipment/design (SLD, Load List, Switchgear, MCC, Motors, UPS, Control Panels, Junction Boxes, BOQ).Responsible for preparation of Electrical Load List, Electrical Single Line Diagrams, Electrical Schematics and Wiring Diagrams and also in modification and re-detailing on Electrical DesignExperienced in Cable Sizing and Selection, Equipment Layout Design, Earthing & Lighting Protection Design, Short Circuit & Voltage Drop Calculations.Preparation of Technical Documents like Equipment Specifications/Datasheets.Preparation of Cable Tray/Conduit laying and installation drawingsAbility to develop various substation and power distribution scheme single line diagram.Ability to develop/lead physical substation layouts and coordinate civil and mechanical disciplines.Substation design Scope of Work and specifications developmentPerform preliminary studies for grounding, lightning protection, arc flash hazard, and other studies required for substation design.Experience in Design calculations for Transformer, Generator Review of Vendor Drawings and Technical Bid Evaluation/ApprovalExperienced in coordinating with Piping/Mechanical/Instrumentation designer for Electrical Design Interface detailsExperienced in assisting during installation, testing and commissioning of Electrical System Equipment at site and coordinating with other discipline to support in project work completionExperience of participation in FAT and SATFamiliar with Codes and Standards : ISA, IEC, CSA, NEC(NFPA70)Familiar with Equipment Selection, Electrical Design Guidelines requirements around Electrical Area Classification in Oil and Gas industryFamiliarity with instrumentation and process control design for Oil and Gas industryFamiliarity with Midstream/Downstream design/engineering processes for Oil and Gas industryAdvanced competency with AutoCAD 2D is must, AutoCAD 3D capability would be an added advantageExperience of using engineering tool ETAP for power system analysis would be an added advantageTeam player, should work together other Technical disciplines in order to achieve Integrated project Execution
