Electrical Engineer
Job Description A large aerospace and defense client of Insight Global is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join their team in Grand Rapids, Michigan for a six-month contract. This person will be responsible for designing and developing CCAs (Circuit Card Assembly) and PWBs (Printed Wiring Boards), ensuring electrical integrity, performing layout design and simulations, and assist in component selection and BOM creation. They will develop schematics and PCB layouts, including component placement and routing of traces, perform signal and power integrity analysis, and collaborate with mechanical and manufacturing teams. Additionally, they will collaborate with Signal Integrity (SI) Specialists to conduct SI analysis and ensure signal quality, collaborate with Power Integrity (PI) Specialists to ensure power distribution, as well as review layout files and conduct pre-layout and post-layout reviews. Compensation: $42.00/hr Exact Compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
