What you’ll do:

Design and implement safe, reliable, and efficient electrical power generation and distribution systems.Help the sales team secure contracts by visiting client sites and crafting creative economical solutions.Assist with the procurement of new electrical, refrigeration, and compressed air rental assets.Test, installation, commission, program, and troubleshoot low voltage and medium voltage switchgear, transformers, voltage regulators, motor controllers, and PLCs.Analyze test data and reports to determine if design meets functional and performance specifications.Create and modify single-line diagrams, location plans, grounding plans, schematics, and wiring diagrams.Carry out a peer-review of engineering deliverables.Inspect equipment and systems for electrical code and safety deficiencies.Travel approximately 25%

We’re experts, which means you’ll have the following skills and experience:

Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering5+ years of relevant hands-on work experienceExceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesGeneral understanding of engineering economics, estimating, budgeting, and basic financial principlesExcellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to persuade through the use of logical arguments and objective dataWorking knowledge of relevant industry-consensus codes and standards from NFPA, IEEE, and UL
