Support electrical design engineering efforts on multi-disciplined project design teams tackling the most difficult aspects of nuclear material handling and nuclear waste cleanup and processingUnder supervision, responsible for the production of engineering calculations/analyses, design drawings, specifications, and engineering reportsApply electrical engineering principles to the design and qualification of structures, systems, and components QualificationsMust be a U.S. Citizen; Dual citizenship with a country other than the U.S. does not qualify.
Essential skills and experience:
Must be able to obtain US Government security clearanceBS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program3+ years of progressively responsible experience in electrical engineering in a nuclear environment (DOE preferred, commercial, or Navy)Self-motivated, have a strong willingness to learn, be able to work independently as well as with a multi-disciplined team, and have excellent organizational and communication skillsValued but not required skills and experience:
