Our thirst for technology is a part of everything we do. The Data Center Engineering team takes the physical design of our data centers into the future. Our lab mirrors a research and development department -- cutting-edge strategies are born, tested and tested again. Along with a team of great minds, you take on complex topics like how we use power or how to run state-of-the-art, environmentally-friendly facilities. You're a visionary who optimizes for efficiencies and never stops seeking improvements -- even small changes that can make a huge impact. You generate ideas, communicate recommendations to senior-level executives and drive implementation alongside facilities technicians.
The Datacenter Delivery and Engineering (DCDE) team is comprised of Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA); Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) design experts; mechanical and electrical engineers; construction project managers; water/air experts; data center services managers; and project controls managers. This team designs, schedules, and constructs the world's most efficient data centers in an adaptable and scalable way.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Drive high-complexity electrical project outcomes by managing scope, priorities, and technical resources while integrating feedback from different stakeholders.
+ Act as the lead electrical subject matter expert, providing technical leadership to resolve critical field issues and troubleshooting advanced system events.
+ Develop new processes and methods to solve problems with limited precedent, defining the best approach for project design, scope, and schedule.
+ Ensure project success by contributing to quality, commissioning, and safety plans, leading the technical resolution of snags and onsite engineering issues.
+ Support program managers and coordinate with contractors, vendors, and authorities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
