Offer expires September 30th, 2025. **Overview** PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented **Electrical/Electronic Installation Design Engineer** to support a major aerospace client in **Oklahoma City, OK** . This is a full-time, on-site consulting opportunity where your engineering expertise will directly support mission-critical aircraft design and electrical integration projects. **Position Details** + **Location:** Oklahoma City, OK (100% onsite at facility) + **Type:** Full-Time; Consultant (6-Month Contract with potential extension) + **Schedule:** Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 9x80 work schedule + **Starting Pay Rate:** $62.16/hour + **Overtime:** Yes, up to 25% + **Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.** + **Travel:** None + **This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.** **Your Impact** As a key member of the electrical design team, you’ll support the creation and integration of complex cable/wire harnesses and installation systems in a dynamic aerospace environment. Your designs will contribute directly to mission success, product safety, and production excellence. **Key Responsibilities** + Develop and maintain cable and wire harness detail and assembly designs + Perform analysis, conduct design reviews, and ensure compliance with specifications + Create detailed electrical product and installation designs (e.g., racks, panels, routing, antennas) + Provide engineering design disposition on production discrepancies + Develop processes, procedures, and specifications for electrical commodity manufacturing + Participate in supplier capability reviews and source selection activities + Interpret functional and physical inputs to ensure fully integrated system designs **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field + Typically 5+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) + Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint **Preferred Qualifications** + Degree or experience in **Electrical Engineering** + 9 or more years of related experience preferred + Prior experience with aerospace electrical systems and installation design + Past or current holder of a U.S. Security Clearance within the last 24 months + Knowledge of cable routing and electrical integration in aerospace applications **Why Join Us?** At **PDS Tech Commercial** , we connect top engineering talent with some of the most exciting and technically advanced aerospace projects in the country.
