Electrical Designer
Job Title: Electrical Designer
Job Description

Design and produce a complete set of electrical drawings for restaurant construction projects using Revit. The projects encompass both ground-up developments and refits. Candidates should have substantial experience in electrical design, proficiency in Revit, and a comprehensive understanding of electrical codes and regulations.

ResponsibilitiesDesign Electrical Systems: Develop and design electrical systems for restaurant projects, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low voltage systems using Revit.Prepare Drawings: Produce a complete set of electrical drawings, including plans, schematics, and details, adhering to project specifications and industry standards.Coordinate with Team: Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electrical designs within the overall project.Code Compliance: Ensure all electrical designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.Review and Modify Designs: Take relines from Senior Designer and make necessary modifications based on feedback and project requirements.Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in electrical design, Revit software, and industry best practices.Essential SkillsAssociates degree in Electrical Technology or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design, preferably in retail or restaurant projects.Proficiency in Revit software is mandatory.Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in design work.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet project deadlines.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in AutoCAD is a plus, though all work will be done in Revit.Knowledge of code requirements in the restaurant/retail markets is a plus.Work Environment

The position involves working in a collaborative team environment where communication with architects and engineers is essential. All design and drafting work is performed using Revit, and while experience in AutoCAD is beneficial, proficiency in Revit is required. The role demands adherence to project deadlines and accuracy in meeting industry standards.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr.

Health Insurance

ArcVision pays 100% of the monthly premium for full time Associates. Associates are responsible
for paying a portion (set amount determined by the company) of the additional coverage for
spouse and families. Associates are eligible and make the choice to enroll on the first of the
following month after their 30th day of employment.
Dental Insurance
All full time Associates are entitled/provided Group Insurance through a company program. The
employee pays 100% of the premium for themselves and their dependents. Associates are
eligible and make the choice to enroll on the first of the following month after their 30th day of
employment.
AFLAC Insurance
All full time Associates are entitled/provided AFLAC Insurance through a company program.
The employee pays 100% of the premium through payroll deduction for themselves and their
dependents. Associates are eligible and make the choice to enroll on the first of the following
month after their 30th day of employment.
Disability Insurance
ArcVision pays 100% of both a short and long term disability policy along with a life insurance
policy for all eligible Associates. Eligibility begins after the 90 days of employment.
Retirement Plan
After 1 year of continuous employment, Associates are eligible to participate in the company
sponsored 401K plan for tax deferred retirement savings. Eligible employees will be able to
participate in the program on January 1st or July 1st following eligibility.
Holidays
ArcVision recognizes the 6 major holidays. Employees are eligible for Holiday pay after their 90
days of employment.
PTO (Paid Time Off)
The amount of PTO time which an employee is entitled to is dependent upon their length of
continuous full-time service as follows:
Years of Continuous Full-Time Service PTO Time Earned
Less than one year Prorated (after 90 days)
1 year to 4 years 15 working days
5 years to 9 years 20 working days
10 years or more 25 working days
PTO Birthday
Eligible after 90 days - a single day on or near your birthday. Timeframe explained in more detail
in employee manual
