Job Title: Electrical Designer

Position Summary:
Seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Electrical Designer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in power and lighting design to create comprehensive electrical designs for a diverse range of projects. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that all designs meet functional requirements and compliance standards.
Essential Functions:
Develop and produce detailed drawings for lighting, power, and electrical distribution systems across various projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and client expectations. Perform lighting and power engineering calculations to support design decisions. Design electrical systems in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to seamlessly integrate electrical systems into overall project designs. Support the procurement process by evaluating and specifying appropriate materials and equipment for new electrical infrastructure, as well as reviewing vendor proposals. Adhere to project schedules, budgets, and scope of work while maintaining a positive and professional work environment.Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Professional Engineer (PE) license or actively working towards licensure. Proficiency in electrical analysis software (e.g., SKM PowerTools). Competency in AutoCAD.Skills:
Expertise in electrical distribution systems, power design, and lighting design. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team while effectively managing multiple priorities. Strong communication and organizational skills.
