Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer
Job Description

The role involves leading and executing key activities related to municipal Water/Wastewater system projects.

ResponsibilitiesConduct field investigations and assessments of electrical power distribution and control equipment.Design electrical distribution, lighting, and control systems for Water and Wastewater facilities utilizing industry standards and specifications.Possess preliminary knowledge of instrumentation devices such as level, pressure, temperature, and flow.Perform system calculations and studies including load flows, voltage drops, and short circuit/coordination studies using electrical analytical software like SKM Tools.Participate in design meetings with clients and collaborate with other design consultants on the project.Essential SkillsProficiency in standards and codes relevant to electrical distribution and control systems.Competency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Effective analytical and problem-solving abilities.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.Minimum of 1 year of design experience post-graduation.Experience preferably from an Architecture/Engineering firm.No automotive background is required.Work Environment

The position involves working in the office Monday through Thursday, with an option to work from home on Fridays. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
