We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Bucharest, Romania. This position offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement, incorporating a combination of both in-office and remote working schedules. Our team provides a wide range of engineering services including industrial process (Oil & Gas, petrochemical). We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to develop within and further the technical skills we bring to our new and existing client base. Qualified candidates will have a familiarity with design aspects for heavy industrial clients.
Job DescriptionHere is what you will do:
Electrical Installations Design: Contribute to the design and planning of electrical systems for a variety of projects, including buildings, water treatment stations, oil & gas and other industrial facilities.Electrical Calculations: Perform essential electrical calculations for systems such as lighting, power distribution, and emergency power systems under supervision.3D BIM Modeling: Assist in creating 3D BIM models using Revit, ensuring all designs meet required standards.Technical Input: Provide technical input on studies and design tasks related to electrical engineeringInterdisciplinary Collaboration: Participate in team reviews and contribute to the integration of various engineering disciplines into comprehensive project designs.Quality Assurance: Support the review and quality control of electrical design documents, drawings, and calculations.Technical Specifications: Preparing technical specification for electrical systems elements.Project Support: Help in developing project schedules and budgets, ensuring adherence to timelines and cost estimates.Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.QualificationsHere’s what we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.A minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical design, preferably for industrial projects, for international clientsFamiliarity with engineering modeling/drafting software.Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.Preferred:
