Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer Responsibilities + Read and interpret wiring diagrams to ensure accurate electrical system integration. + Troubleshoot electrical systems on vehicles, addressing design changes and custom orders. + Collaborate with the manufacturing team to enhance electrical system design and functionality. + Conduct on-vehicle testing and prototyping to support production and R&D efforts. + Assist in building wire harnesses for testing and production support. Essential Skills + Proficiency in electrical system design and troubleshooting. + Experience with 3D design engineering and SolidWorks. + Knowledge of wiring schematics and harnesses. + Competency in AutoCAD and product engineering. + Experience in new product development. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering. + 3+ years of experience in designing and troubleshooting electrical components in a manufacturing environment. + Familiarity with electrical systems for low voltage DC applications (12V, 24V). + Experience with common connectors and tools like Deutsch DT, DTM, and HDP series. + Comfort with wire harness design, documentation, and creating schematics using Visio/SolidWorks Electrical. + Experience with CAD systems, including creating part files and assemblies. + Knowledge of Codesys software, IFM hardware and software, ladder logic, and function block programming. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
