Electrical Controls Engineer
Job Title: Electrical Controls Engineer
Job Description

This role is a balanced mix of Electrical Controls Engineering, where the qualified candidate will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of control systems for custom material handling equipment. You will work closely with senior engineers and team members to ensure that the systems meet the highest standards of quality and performance. The position offers a technically challenging environment, with the opportunity to work on up to 15 projects simultaneously, each at different stages of development. The projects are diverse, providing a wide variety of work, and require adaptation to customer specifications.

ResponsibilitiesDesign and program PLC systems.Develop and implement Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems.Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.Participate in the testing and commissioning of control systems.Maintain documentation for control systems and processes.Essential Skills5+ years of experience in PLC programming, including Allen-Bradley or Siemens.2+ years of experience in programming from scratch.Proficiency in electrical schematic design.Experience with AutoCAD Electrical and Solidworks.Strong troubleshooting skills in controls engineering.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to program from scratch with Allen-Bradley & Siemens.Experience in HMI programming.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
