Electrical Controls Engineer - Panel Design, Component Selection, and wiring schematics
Description
This position is supporting our Sales and Engineering department with the design of Industrial Application and Process Control Panels. This will include developing Sequence of Operations, Component Selection, Control Panel Schematics, Fabrication Assistance, and Startup-Installation support. All Control Panels designed and built carry the UL-508A approval. Majority of the Control Panels are based on PLC's and HMI's.
Job Duties:
Designing industrial control panels, including component selectionWork performed to UL508a complying with NFPA 70. and NFPA 86. Any knowledge of these are a plus,Creating and Checking Bills of Materials.Creating wiring schematics. Working with Quality Control regarding Testing Procedures.Working tightly with Sales Department. Read customer specifications to ensure designs are compliant.Provide field assistance for startup and service work of various equipment and controls as requiredSkills

Need a candidate with 10+ years experience in Industrial PLC Control Panel Design
Knowledge and experienced with Industrial Controls, PLC's and HMI's (Actual programming done by others in the Group)Strong knowledge of controls and electrical systems designKnowledge and experienced in the application of VFDsFormal Education, such as BSEE, but will consider the right candidate with hands on trainingElectrical and Mechanical aptitudeAccuracy and Attention to DetailExperience in AutoCADMust be a Team player that can also work independently, and able to multi-task, as there will be multiple jobs at different phases being worked on at the same timeExperience Level

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/hr.
