Job Summary:

As an Electrical Assembler I in Griffin, GA with EPD, you will be responsible for preparing and assembling products in a fast-paced, heavy-duty manufacturing environment. This role involves installing electrical components, routing wiring, interpreting blueprints, and following standardized work procedures to ensure safe and high-quality assembly. Candidates should bring a commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.


What You Will Do:

Install components such as breaker boxes, sub-assemblies, conduit, and wiring into electrical enclosures following work instructions, blueprints, standard operating procedures, and safety guidelines

Cut, measure, and bend conduit and wiring materials to meet required dimensions

Route and secure wires and cables while maintaining neat and efficient layouts

Identify and address non-conforming issues in the assembly process

Perform quality inspections to ensure compliance with safety and engineering standards

Apply proper torque values based on engineering specifications

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Participate in continuous improvement activities and team-based problem solving

Complete electrical installations from start to finish with attention to detail and accuracy

What You Will Have:

Experience in a fast-paced, hands-on environment such as manufacturing, mechanical, or technical assembly

1+ year of experience in an assembly or production role

Ability to read and understand blueprints, electrical schematics, or similar technical documents

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and follow standardized procedures

What Will Put You Ahead:

2+ years of experience in electrical assembly, equipment installation, or diesel engine/mechanical assembly

Familiarity with electrical installation standards, tools, and safety procedures

Demonstrated reliability, strong attendance record, and positive work ethic in previous roles

Exposure to safety-focused work environments and protocols (e.g., risk assessments, PPE usage, standard work documentation)

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform frequent hand and arm movements using a variety of tools

Ability to perform work involving bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, standing, and twisting for extended periods

Consistent use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) for all tasks

Ability to work in an environment with changing temperatures and varying production conditions

Summary Pay Range:

$20.76 - $26.51
