Badger Daylighting is currently recruiting for an Electrician at our Red Deer Manufacturing plant. The Electrician will work with team members on the assembly and installation of AC and DC control systems and will be expected to play a key role in on-site activities.

RESPONSIBILITES 

What You'll Be Doing:

Work from schematics and job instructionsConstructs Electrical Control Panels and Electrical HarnessesPre-assembly and finish wiring of control systemsInstalls electrical control circuits for motors and control devices for various electrical devicesEnsures accuracy and completion of assigned tasks and projectsTest completed equipment for proper performance.Use of specific wire cutting/stripping/crimping equipmentAdaptability to changing tasks due to continuous improvements and updatesClean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance workOther assigned work as required

QUALIFICATIONS 

What You'll Need For Success:

A strong background in Automotive 12V systems is preferred.Follow Badger best practices with a focus on Best Operator, Best Truck.Ensure compliance with Badger's safety and high service standards in the area. Badger is a safety-oriented company, and it is important to use this to help develop a competitive advantage and raise the standards of the industry.High school diploma, GED, or equivalent5 years’ experience with automotive electrical preferredLEAN manufacturing experience is an assetAbility to work independently in a busy environmentExperience with routine maintenance operationsHighly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environmentAble to effectively communicate both verbally and in writingAble to work well under pressureStrong attention to detailAble to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all timesComputer literateMust be eligible to work in Canada
