Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer

The E/I (Electrical & Instrumentation) Engineer plays a key role in the design and execution of metering systems and analytical systems for liquid and gas applications. This role involves taking the project from concept through construction, testing, and ongoing support. Desired candidate: proficient in electrical and instrumentation engineering, familiar with Oil & Gas field, capable of meeting customer demands and industry expectations. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Ensure timely delivery of engineering outputs with high quality standards; Understand customer applications and processes such as refining, ethylene, and LNG.; Act as the main technical contact for clients and engineering contractors; Support the Project Manager in all technical discussions during proposal handover, kick-off meetings, and customer engagements; Prepare and review electrical and instrumentation documents, including I/O assignments, wiring diagrams, hook-up drawings, and cable schedules; Ensure designs follow customer specifications and international standards; Lead the selection and sizing of E&I components such as flow meters, transmitters, gauges, junction boxes, panels, etc.; Provide detailed design documents and oversee preparation of electrical diagrams, panel layouts, BOMs, and calculations; Lead analyzer selection and sample handling system design per customer requirements; Coordinate system integration and assist in procurement, inventory, and fabrication phases; Support testing teams with internal checkout and FAT; Collaborate with the service team for lifecycle support; Build and manage engineering documentation and certification packages; Coordinate engineering work packages with internal and external resources; Supervise and follow up on project documentation deliverables and technical variations.

For This Role, You Will Need:

A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering, Physics, or related fields; At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry; Strong knowledge of instrumentation and process engineering principles; Fluent English skills—verbal, written, and reading; Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities; Proficiency with MS Office, Microsoft Project, Oracle/JDE, and CAD/engineering tools such as ePlan;

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

Experience working with analytical systems; Familiarity with petrochemical, refining, and LNG applications; Prior experience technically coordinating a project team; Practical knowledge of lifecycle support and system integration.
