Your position and responsibilities 

As an electrical engineering intern, you will assist the test and design engineer of machine-human interfaces for mine hoist systems. You will be part of ABB Canada's Process Automation, Process Industries division and will be based in our Saint-Laurent office.Testing of winch control and supervision systemsTesting of SIL 3 brake control systems for winchesDevelopment of operator interface for hoisting systems (ABB mine hoists)Installation of software for operator interfaces and system maintenance computersHelp develop and maintain winch control and supervision systemsWriting and updating technical documentation and operating manuals

Qualifications for the position

Electrical engineering student.General programming knowledge.PLC experience an asset.Good communication skills, able to approach others with questions.Proactive in work.
