About the Job:
Performs all diagnostic EKG procedures and holter applications. Performs all duties related to record transcription and record delivery to proper areas.
What You Will Do:
Actively demonstrates the organization’s mission and core values, and conducts oneself at all times in a manner consistent with these values.Knows and adheres to all laws and regulations pertaining to patient health, safety and medical information.Performs EKG’s in a timely and efficient manner.Demonstrates age specific competencies.Uses a magnet for pacemaker detection.Obtains necessary data and orders for patient testing.Maintains skills to recognize abnormalities in EKG tracings and reports critical abnormalities to physician.Applies holter monitor using proper skin preparation technique. Transcribes all interpretation of EKG’s and holters.Cleans all equipment utilizing proper infection control and safety measures routinely.Responsible for record delivery to proper areas.Requirements:
Education: High School Graduate.
Licensure: CPR certified.
Experience: One year’s experience in allied health profession preferred. Computer experience preferred.
