Responsibilities
Is expected to perform duties in alignment with the mission and policies of the organization. Performs duties in support of and in compliance with the performance improvement plan JC and other licensing accrediting and regulatory agencies. Performs non-invasive electrodiagnostic examinations of patient characterized by the performance of standard (3) three channel Resting EKG Holter Monitoring and Scanning Treadmill Exercise Test Dual Isotope Nuclear Stress Test Pharmacologic Stress Test Tilt Table Test Stress Echo and Signal Averaging Late Potential EKG as ordered by a physician. All electrocardiographic testings are performed in accordance with established written protocol.
Qualifications
Minimum one year experience as an EKG technician conducting Standard three channel 12 Lead EKG; two and three channel Holter monitor test; three channel Holter scanning treadmill exercise test; Dual Isotope nuclear & pharmacologic stress testing; tilt table testing and signal average late potential EKG. Minimum one year experience with cardiovascular or elctrocardiology transcription skills using a transcribing machine preferred. High School Graduate. Some college preferredMust have completed a Dysrhythmia course with certification. Certification in Basic Life Support. Medical Transcription skills strongly preferred Overview
