EKG Technician, Certified - Part Time, Days (Nazareth Hospital)
**Employment Type:** Part time **Shift:** Day Shift **Description:** Nazareth Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for an EKG Tech to join our team! Schedule: Part time, day shift, 8hr shifts The purpose of the Cardiology Technician is the safe and efficient performance of noninvasive cardiac testing. The studies performed are: 12 lead electrocardiograms, HOLTER monitor applications, and stress testing. **Job Responsibilities:** + Skin prep and electrode placement accurately on chest and extremities to insure proper positioning and can name anatomical sites. + Records patient information on EKG machine + Attaches leads to electrodes + Able to operate machine in code situation. + Reviews EKG tracing during test + Troubleshoots and produces high quality artifact free tracings. + Cleans patient post procedure + Returns bed to low position with call bell and needed belongings in reach. + Prepares tracings for physician to read + Alerts physician to any tracing that demonstrates a significant abnormality. + Demonstrates ability to prevent, recognize and report abuse. **Minimum Qualifications:** + HS Diploma or Equivalent + EKG Certification Required + BCLS Certification **What We Offer:** + Medical, Dental, & Vision Coverage + Retirement Savings Program + Paid Time Off + Tuition Reimbursement + Free Parking + And more! **Our Commitment** Rooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
