EIT Field Engineer
**Job Overview:** The EIT Field Engineer directly impacts the effectiveness of their team and related team. They exchange ideas and information relating to Tech Services effectively. The EIT Field Engineer may work autonomously within established Tech Services procedures and practices. They act as a lead, coordinating the work of others. The EIT Field Engineer proposes improvements to processes and methods within the Tech Services discipline. EIT site Field Engineer / tech services will be responsible for supporting construction activities, problem solving for issues in the field and being a focal point for discipline issues. Candidate should have experience in Electrical / Instrumentation and Telecoms disciplines. The EIT Field Engineer has an in-depth understanding of analytical and scientific processes in the Tech Services discipline. They can exercise judgment based on previous experience, practices, and precedents to identify and solve problems that arise with little or no precedent. **Key Tasks and Responsibilities:** + Provide technical expertise in onshore construction projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion of projects. + Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams, including Engineers, Project Managers, and Contractors to ensure quality standards are met and project timelines are followed. + Monitor and evaluate project progress, providing guidance and solutions to any technical issues that may arise. + Conduct regular site visits and inspections, identify potential risks and hazards, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. + Develop and implement processes and procedures for effective project management and technical service delivery. + Manage and mentor team members, providing guidance and support to ensure high levels of performance and productivity. + Contribute to the development and implementation of safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment on EPCI project sites. **Essential Qualifications and Education:** + Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field, technical higher education or equivalent on the job experience. + Ten (10) years of experience in onshore construction, with a track record of successful project delivery. + Strong knowledge of EPCI industry standards, processes, and technologies. + Demonstrated ability to manage and lead cross-functional teams. + Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external Stakeholders. + Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage competing priorities. + Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills. + Willingness to travel to project sites as required \#LI-PF1 Our ingenuity fuels daily life.
