Position DescriptionAs a EIM Data Migration Associate, you will be a key member of our Data and Digital Services (DDS) Application Development (AD) EIM (Enterprise Integration and Migration) team and will be responsible of performing billable client work, including data migration requirements scoping and understanding, providing estimates, execution of tasks, documentation, and standards compliance. You will support the delivery team in the data management activities necessary for the implementation or upgrade of ERP systems. This role requires functional and business process experience with ERPs, T-SQL, Excel and data analytical skills, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You must be client-focused, and team oriented with attention to detail. In this role, you will be a valued member of our Application Development EIM team, and you will be responsible of all phases of the scoping and data migration lifecycle using a defined project methodology. This position also requires maintaining ongoing relationships with key US project team contacts.
ResponsibilitiesWork closely with delivery consultants to translate data migration requirements into data migration tasksCommunicate with the US project team consultants regarding data migration effortsCreate and maintain documentation of data migration processes, including process documentation and presentationsCreate and maintain data migration documentation, such as centralized data templatesProvide data migration services throughout the entire project lifecycle, from RVM (Rapid Verification Model) phase, through Solution Verification phase and Implementation phase, finalizing with post Go-Live supportFollow the data migration lifecycle process, including timely updates to our internal systemsExecute data migration activities following a plan and timelineContribute to shared knowledge repositories for data migration best practicesReport progress and provide status updates – both at the project and program level – to project stakeholders and management teamAssist and support team resources in data migration activitiesSkills and ExperienceA successful candidate will have good attention to detail, troubleshooting skills, the ability to learn new technologies, functionalities, and processes quickly and the ability to work on their own as well as within a small team. Required QualificationsMaster’s or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or related fieldUnderstanding of business processesAdvanced experience and demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, most importantly Excel.Possess problem solving and data analytical skillsProficiency with ETL (extract, transform, load), SQL Server Database (both Azure and on-prem.), T-SQL.Experience with the following will be a plus: Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, Azure Data Factory.Client-focused, team-oriented and able to work with different people in diverse scenariosDetail-oriented and extremely organizedDriven and self-sufficientAbility to learn new business processes or applications quicklyGoal-oriented with an eye for qualityStrong communication skills.
