Job Title: EIC Technician Location: Morrisville, North Carolina Type: Contract Contractor Work Model: Onsite Hours: Two Openings including 2 PM - 10:30 PM and 10 PM- 6:30 AM shifts M-F Position Overview The EIC Technician is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting plant control systems, ensuring production equipment runs safely and efficiently. This includes support for PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and related electrical components. Key Responsibilities: + Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and control systems. + Execute preventive maintenance and complete work orders. + Support installations and upgrades with Controls Engineers. + Maintain backups and documentation for automation systems. + Troubleshoot industrial networks (Ethernet, Profibus, ControlNet). + Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. + Use diagnostic tools and software for system testing and repairs. + Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow safety procedures. + Support capital projects and continuous improvement efforts. Requirements: + Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or equivalent experience. + 2+ years in production or operations. + 1+ year experience with manufacturing/packaging equipment. + Strong knowledge of PLCs, control systems, sensors, and relays. + Basic mechanical understanding; able to use hand and power tools. + Proficient with computers; SAP PM experience preferred. + Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
