Job Summary
The UM-D Environmental Interpretive Center (EIC) is offering a part-time, seasonal, paid position that involves leading groups of school children for educational programs. These nature and science-oriented programs take place outdoors in the campus Environmental Study Area.
Minimum availability 3 weekdays per week, 5 hours per day, 9AM to 2PM. Seasonal work with 10-15 hour max during busy times (mid Sept.-mid Nov., end Jan.- early June)
September 6th through June 17, 2026, potential for continued employment in the following academic term. Employment could lead to an internal internship or fellowship opportunity at the EIC.
Training is provided by experienced EIC naturalist staff and student program leaders.
