EHS&T Administrator

Boart Longyear is seeking an EHS&T Administrator to support our operations in Drilling Services Canada. This is a full-time role out of the Haileybury office providing support to our EHS&T Coordinators and Drilling Services operations teams.
Job Responsibilities:
• Registration and administration of the Common Core program
• Setting new hires up with safety course system access (including in-house BITS program)
• Scanning and filing electronic documents
• Creating and maintaining consistent digital employee records
• Converting information from the field into electronic data management systems (GEMS)
• Organize third party training and reporting
• Ensure training is current and records are maintained
• Complete RFP/RFQ with EHS&T data entry
• Assist with creating reports from our In Vehicle Monitoring System (IVMS). Follow-up on required action items, and generate reports on a daily basis
• Update and digitally file metrics, annual EHS documents, and reports
• Research current legislative requirements to ensure compliance
• Manage EHS Scorecard Documents
• Assist EHS&T Team with expense reporting
• Support EHS&T employees with system-based access issues
• Order EHS&T documents and collateral
• Assist with COR audits
• Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
• 1-3 years directly related experience;
• Experience in mining or construction an asset;
• Experience with SiteDocs an asset;
• Relevant safety training is an asset (eg: NHSA designation);
• Strong computer skills, including extensive experience using Microsoft Excel;
• Strong coordination, organization, and communication skills.
