Objectives of the Position        

Maintain and assure the effectiveness and suitability of Environment, Safety and Health Management SystemProvide on-demand services for the purpose of ensuring compliance with BASF EHS corporate requirements and local relevant regulations

 

Main Tasks

Support implementation of Occupational Safety as per BASF EHS Corporate Requirements at BASF sites in KoreaProvide consultation on various OS topics and conduct trainingFacilitate OS community, organize regular exchange and knowledge sharing with sitesMonitoring EHS performance and reportingManage incident case report, guide and support incident investigationAct as a dedicated organization and co-ordinate with sites to meet the requirements of Serious Accident Punishment ActAdvocate OS-related local requirements, by aligning with sitesSupport RC audits and SHE-related activities of the sitesSupport projects for EHS matters incl. digitalization, integration, etcOrganize and facilitate country EHS-driven initiatives and activities

 

Minimum Education and Qualification Required for the Position

Education: University graduate of B.S or above, Graduate in chemical engineering or safety engineering preferredWork experience: more than 5 years career (Experience in EHS area is preferred but not compulsory.)Technical & Professional Knowledge:National technical qualifications: Industrial Safety EngineerRC Audit experienceGood communication and co-ordination skills for dealing and interacting with BASF internal partner and service recipients, external 3rd parties.Proficient English communication skillsPositive and active attitude
