主な責任
現場レベルでEHSポリシー、手順、およびプログラムを管理・実施し、定められた基準に沿った活動を確保するとともに、リスクを軽減するために法律を遵守する。
従業員やコントラクター向けに役立つEHSトレーニングセッションを実施し、安全意識を高める。現場の業務および危険に特化したトレーニング資料を作成・更新し、関連性と効果を維持する。
定期的に現場の点検や監査を行い、危険や遵守問題を事前に特定し、優れた安全文化を醸成する。事故やニアミスの調査をリードし、根本原因を特定して予防措置を講じる。
安全点検、トレーニングセッション、および事故の正確な記録を保持する。マネージメントや行政機関に報告書を作成・提出し、EHSの改善に向けた推奨事項を提供する。
デュポン監査やISO監査を含む、内部および外部のEHS監査に対応し、健康と安全の基準へのコミットメントする。

化学関連分野の学士以上

Primary Objectives
Lead and support all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) activities at the Sasakami site as part of the EHS team. Ensure compliance with Japanese EHS regulations and DuPont standards. Work together with the Asia Pacific E&I EHS team. Help improve operations in manufacturing, analysis, fabrication, research and development, and facility maintenance by effectively managing EHS activities aligned with DuPont E&I EHS goals.
Key Accountability
Manage and implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs at the site level, ensuring alignment with established standards and compliance with local regulations to mitigate risks.
Conduct engaging EHS training sessions for employees and contractors to enhance safety awareness. Develop and update training materials specific to site operations and hazards to maintain relevance and effectiveness.
Perform regular site inspections and audits to proactively identify hazards and compliance issues, fostering a robust safety culture. Lead investigations into incidents and near misses to determine root causes and establish preventive measures.
Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, and incidents to ensure accountability. Prepare and submit reports to management and regulatory agencies, providing insights and recommendations for EHS improvement.
Prepare for and respond to internal and external EHS audits, including DuPont and ISO audits, demonstrating commitment to health and safety standards.
Specific competencies required
Essential:
BA degree or higher in chemistry related field
Fluent in Japanese, and basic English in oral and written communication
Computer literate (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, and SharePoint)
Ability / or a developing competence in the following:
Actively participate in EHS activities alongside the site EHS leader and team members, fostering a culture of safety and compliance
Initiative and self-motivation
Proactive problem solving
Organize workloads to meet deadlines and influence others positively
Preferred:
Qualification as 1st grade Health Supervisor (第一種衛生管理者)
Qualification as Hazardous Materials Handlings (危険物取扱者甲種/乙種)
