The Environmental, Health, and Safety & Sustainability (EHS&S) Specialist is responsible for the EHS&S activities within the Cortland facility, which include supporting the overall strategy of Pall’s Global EHS&S organization. You will assist the EHS&S Manager in developing, implementing, and maintaining EHS&S procedures, systems, equipment, and documentation, as well as providing compliance and technical support that ensures regulatory compliance in line with business goals. You will have the opportunity to learn how Kaizen tools are utilized for EHS&S activities.
This position reports to the EHS&S Manager and is part of the EHS&S department located in Cortland, New York, and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will:
Ensure regulatory requirements are complied with and site EHS&S programs and documentations are maintained, as well as assist in developing the EHSMS for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.Responsible for ensuring/performing EHS&S compliance training, onboarding, and implementation of EHS&S initiatives.Support the development of 4E hazard control, energy management, and waste management risk assessments for site production, facility, maintenance, and office-related activities.Operationalize EHS&S by collaborating with production and administrative functions, as well as associates, to address key areas such as incident investigation, chemical management, industrial hygiene, contractor management, lockout/out procedures, management of change, EHS training, PPE, and emergency response.Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree in engineering or EHSRegistered Workplace Safety and Health OfficerAt least 5 years of working experience in the related field.Preferred Experience:
Cleanroom operationsManagement of chemical systemsThe salary range for this role is $ 85,000 - $ 100,000 annually. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
