Oversee compliance to ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and related safety standards

Conduct internal audits and compliance self-assessments; lead corrective action plans

Monitor safety KPIs, report incidents, and lead root cause analysis

Lead injury investigations, workers comp cases, and regulatory reporting

Partner with corporate HSE, EHS consultants, and environmental teams

Serve as the site authority for OSHA, MIOSHA, and general industrial safety standards

Bachelor’s degree required (Safety, Environmental, or Engineering preferred)

5+ years of HSE experience in a heavy manufacturing or industrial environment

Certified auditor or deep auditing experience in ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or OHSAS 18001

Experience managing workers comp, HSE investigations, and incident prevention

Strong command of OSHA, MIOSHA, and environmental regulations

Management experience (2+ years), with ability to lead and coach safety teams

Strong communication skills and comfort in matrixed environments

U.S. work authorization required (no visa sponsorship now or in the future)

Why This Role?

Flagship facility with large-scale safety complexity and high visibility

Direct impact on cultural reset and long-term site safety strategy

Leadership team that values accountability, autonomy, and execution

Excellent relocation program: up to $25K, temp housing or household goods included

Long-term growth runway within a global manufacturing group
