POSITION OBJECTIVE
Implement and manage environmental, health, and safety programs, as well as, developing training and recommending specific environmental, health and safety related programs and activities, while following corporate and government regulations and guidelines.
Ensure Occupational Health Programs are developed and in line with Federal Requirements
Ensure human and technical resources availability and readiness to prevent or address an Emergency at the Queretaro site.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement the strategy to ensure a risk-free workplace environment of our manufacturing site in QRO.
Develop and execute health, safety and industrial hygiene plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines
Ensures the emergency preparedness training program, equipment inspection, and fitness for duty to effectively respond to major emergencies in accordance with state and federal regulations
Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety.
Evaluate practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and ensure all legal requirements and internal policies are followed
Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention
Monitor compliance to policies and laws by inspecting employees and operations
Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions
Investigate accidents or incidents to discover causes and handle worker’s compensation claims
Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures
Provide support and opportunities of development for your team members.
Manage important budgets (Capex & Opex) to respect and maintain a precise Monthly forecast and budget follow-up
Monitor results and prepare a Balance Score Card (KPI) for the facility. Ensure results and action needed are shared to management team
Conduct staff performance reviews (evaluation), set individual objectives (PMP), set performance goals, and identify employee training requirements
Encourages his team and colleagues to work cross functionally, and not stop at the boundaries of their job description
Follow BRP values and behaviors
Ensure a safe working environment and take full accountability for all safety related topics.

Education:
Bachelor: Industrial/Environmental/Chemical Enginnering
Experience
Years: 8 in safety management
Language:
Fluent in Spanish written and verbal.
English advanced (Min. 80%)
French or german is an advantage
