**Work Schedule** Standard (Mon-Fri) **Environmental Conditions** Office **Job Description** For the QR-EHS department (Quality & Regulatory - Environment, Health & Safety) we are looking for a student who would like to do a (graduation) research with us. The project concerns the formulation of the new Laser Safety Policy. The aim is to incorporate information, legal requirements and internal recommendations into a standard to ensure safe and efficient handling of lasers. This means, among other things, coordination within various teams, conducting experiments, standardizing protocols and acting on the basis of evidence. The policy will form the basis for product development within R&D and for applications in the cleanroom environment. During your research you will be supervised by the EHS Manager. Your main responsibilities: You support the EHS manager in the research, but also make your own contribution to the proposal for improvement and with new ideas. Your tasks: • Inventory of existing procedures and resources • Investigate expertise, possible roles and responsibilities within the organization • Define frameworks for experimental setups and for working with lasers in cleanrooms • Define necessary additional training, depending on the function of the employees • Take initiatives to ensure that a new policy document is ready, in which the teams of different teams have clear roles and responsibilities and in which the safety agreements remain at the right level. Job requirements We are looking for an enterprising, communicative and organizationally strong student who can act practically, but also dares to challenge himself strategically. What requirements do you need to meet? • You are available for (at least) 6 months; • You are looking for an internship; • You are following a HBO education in Integral Safety Science; • You are enthusiastic, proactive and have a real 'hands on' mentality; • You are proficient in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
