Job Description SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and Human Resources (HR) teams. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both EHS and HR functions, supporting our commitment to maintaining a safe, compliant, and productive workplace. The intern will assist with various projects and initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote employee well-being and organizational efficiency. All students are required to have completed the 5o. semester of university course. TBC.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Support the EHS team in conducting safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.Assist in the development and review of EHS policies and training programs.Participate in accident investigations and help prepare reports and recommendations for corrective actions.Collaborate with the HR team on recruitment and onboarding processesSite events management.Aid in the preparation and updating of employee records and documentation.Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events.Support HR projects related to performance management, employee satisfaction surveys, and diversity initiatives.Contribute to the maintenance of HR databases and help generate reports for management review.Perform other duties as assigned to support the EHS and HR teams.

Desired Characteristics:

Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn.Familiarity with EHS and HR concepts and practices is a plus.Demonstrated interest in promoting workplace safety and employee well-being.
