Are you a proactive EHS professional ready to lead compliance and sustainability at a high-impact chemical manufacturing site? We're looking for an EHS Expert to own and drive all Environmental, Health & Safety activities - ensuring full regulatory compliance, managing Seveso permits, and leading continuous improvement in a dynamic, high-risk industrial setting. As the primary point of contact for regulatory authorities, you’ll play a key role in securing our license to operate and aligning our EHS goals with global corporate standards - without compromising operational efficiency.

🔍 Ensure Compliance & Regulatory Readiness
Manage all EHS permits, licensing (including Seveso), and auditsServe as the site’s central expert on EHS legislation and compliance strategyLiaise with regulatory agencies to secure fair, sustainable permit conditions🗺️ Lead Strategy & Continuous Improvement
Define and implement the site EHS roadmap with the management teamSet KPIs and performance targets in collaboration with Production, Technical, Logistics, and Planning teamsDrive ongoing EHS improvements and ensure alignment with corporate sustainability goals🤝 Collaborate Across Teams
Support and guide departmental managers in achieving EHS targetsCoordinate site-wide training, risk assessments, and incident investigationsRepresent the site in corporate EHS programs and initiatives📊 Track Performance & Communicate Results
Monitor and report EHS KPIs to site leadershipPresent updates and improvement plans that impact safety, compliance, and efficiencyEnsure a safety-first culture across all levels of the siteWhat You Bring✅ Bachelor's or Master's in Occupational Health & Safety, Chemical Engineering, or similar
✅ 5–8 years' EHS leadership experience in a Seveso or chemical manufacturing environment
✅ Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, risk management, and permit negotiation
✅ Certification as Fire Inspector or in Security Administration (preferred)
✅ Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills
✅ Excellent communication and team-building capabilities
✅ Fluent in English (other languages a plus)
