Job DescriptionABOUT YOUR ROLE
This role will be responsible to develop annual EHS A3 Plan, further improve EHS Management Systems, ensuring EHS Legal Compliance, analyze injury patterns and developing a proactive safety culture towards zero accidents and world class safety performance
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
EHS Legal Compliance
Ensure compliance by sustaining a PDCA approach on current and new legal requirements and company EHS requirements
Responsible to work with local EHS authorities
In charge of fire protection system and Emergency Response Process management
Responsible for Environmental protection and occupational health compliance
Safety Culture
Drive shop floor safety as a value and behavior change with effective initiatives
Engaging employees to be responsibility and accountability and capability
Coordinate ASEAN and AP level safety initiatives
Set up plant level annual EHS targets and objectives.
Participate in the MDI meeting, communication meeting, site coordinate meeting, regular inspection and special inspection.etc, and provide EHS recommendation.
Provides periodic guidance to site management team and operators on major aspects of environment, health and safety including, but not limited to: Machine Safety, PPE, Emergency Response Plans, Mobile Equipment, Crane and Hoist, Confined Space, Hot Work, Asbestos, Hearing Conservation, LOTO, etc. and all associated training and Job Safety Analysis/Risk assessment.
Follow the global utilized safety vision and work with all levels of employees to create and maintain safety culture.
Attending meetings and training organized by the local government on environment, health and safety.
Provide assistance and coaching to the site management team , support these talented members to grow up.
Injury Prevention
Implement and maintain Injury Prevention Program at site level as set by Regional and Global EHS
Setting up clear Lagging and Leading Indicators as ways to improve and sustain Zero Accidents
Manage incident investigation, root cause analysis and action plan closure. Action plan development at site for global incidents
Encourage and promote Near Miss Reporting from the floor operators as ways to improve hazard recognition and control.
