Position Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented EHS Engineer to support our plants in the Czech Republic (Ostrava and Prostejov). This role is deeply embedded in our manufacturing environment and requires a strong, consistent presence on the shop floor.
You will work in close collaboration with the maintenance team and shop floor operators, spending a significant amount of time in the factory to understand daily operations, identify risks, and drive safety improvements.

You will develop tools, templates, and best practices to promote a proactive safety culture, anticipate potential hazards, and advise on effective solutions. This position reports directly to the Executive Director of Operations.
Essential ResponsibilitiesThis role is responsible for the following:
Manage occupational health and safetyMonitor risks and prepare corrective actionsConduct internal and external safety auditsInvestigate workplace accidents and propose corrective actionsCooperate with the company doctorCheck workplace ergonomicsMonitor and enforce established HSE processes and proceduresConduct regular employee HSE trainingSupport the EMS (Environmental Management System)Ensure and coordinate compliance with HSE legislationMaintain PPE matrix – select appropriate PPE and monitor usageCooperate with relevant authorities (e.g., Hygiene Station, Labor Inspectorate)Manage documentation – monitor legislation, prepare and update internal documentsMaintain data in SAP and Gensuite systemsParticipate in internal and safety audits and related administrationCollaborate on all HSE activities and incident investigationsCreating HSE documentationSupport new projectsEnsure compliance with quality standards and take corrective actions when deviations occurMaintain workplace cleanlinessPerform duties in accordance with HSE, hygiene, and environmental regulationsTimely execution of tasks assigned by the supervisorPerform other duties as assigned by the supervisor Position RequirementsUniversity degree in environmental engineering, mechanical engineering, occupational safety engineering, or an equivalent field
Strong experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) within the manufacturing industryExperience in complex industrial companyProactivity, attention to details and good communication skillsEnglish skills on a professional level
