PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIESAssist management of company full compliance with EHS laws & regulations based on related knowledge.Implement the company’s EHS policies to ensure that high standards are achieved and also afford a means of promoting continuous improvement.Set up and improve EHS procedures including OHSAS18001 & ISO14001, and ensure the effective operation of EHS management system.Investigate accidents, complete or verify accident reports, and liaise with specialists and JM oversea external health and safety authorities to identify the causes of accidents and prevent their recurrence.Conduct EHS monitoring, routine inspection and safety observation.Follow up corrective and preventive actions based on inspections, audit, risk assessment and other findings.Organizing and coordinating EHS emergency drills, training emergency teams, reviewing and updating ERP when necessary.Participate in process safety management, such as PHA. As the Champion of MOC, coordinate site MOC.Working closely with the whole China EHS team. i.e Sustainability , regulatory and process safety to ensure the Business Continuity Program for PGMS China business. Other task assigned by EHS manager.QUALIFICATIONSCollege or university degree in environment, safety, chemistry or engineering related field.Familiar to national EHS laws especial for environmental/safety/QualityPreferably more than 3 years’ experience in EHS experience.Familiar with Microsoft office softwareGood interpersonal and communication skills.Good spoken and written English.Be enthusiastic, energetic, honest and hard work and be able to work standalone in challenging situationsResults oriented with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Knowledge and experience in process safety management in chemical manufacturing industry, familiar with PHR,HS and process safety management system.
