Corning’s Environmental Technologies segment manufactures ceramic substrates and filter products for emissions control in mobile and stationary applications around the world.
**EHS Engineer**
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Support site teams to carry out EHS activities in compliance with company, division requirement and local EHS regulations.
+ Maintain and improve a robust EHS Management System on site, collect EHS data, prepare and maintain EHS records and reports according to company’s requirements.
+ Participate in the process of new project launching, equipment installation and permit/license application, so as to make sure those projects meet EHS requirements.
+ Take charge of overall environment and energy management, including ISO 14001 system maintain, energy saving and waste reduction initiatives, waste supervision, discharge monitoring and so on.
+ Lead Industrial Hygiene management, including but not limited to occupational hazard element test, fitting test, Medical Surveillance and IH exposure improvement projects and etc.
+ Identify the shortcomings of Industrial Hygiene and Environmental and help to improve them through programs or projects.
+ As Production line EHS leader, overall take charge of EHS management.
+ Other assignments from supervisors
**Experiences/Education - Required**
+ Bachelor and /or above
+ Major in Environmental engineering is preferred
+ Certificate Safety Engineer or Environmental Engineer is preferred
+ At least 3-year manufactory experiences in EH&S
+ MNC experience is preferred
+ Familiar with both local and international Environmental, Safety and Health regulatory requirements and business practice.
+ Knowledge of professional EHS standards evaluation
+ Knowledge and experience of plant environment and industry hygiene improvements
+ Demonstrated project management skill
+ Good documentation skill
+ Excellent English both for written and oral
+ Good interpersonal and communication skill

+ Strong planning and execution capability for EHS culture development
+ Strong acknowledge and skill on audit
+ Sharp on safety opportunities
