EHS_EHS Coordinator

POSITION OBJECTIVE

Coordinate operational management of environmental, health, and safety programs, as well as coordinating and delivering training and recommending specific environmental, health and safety related programs and activities, while following corporate and government regulations and guidelines for the EV operations in Querétaro. As well as ensure human and technical resources availability and readiness to prevent or address an Emergency in the Queretaro site.

 

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Ensures implementation of the Safety strategy and the execution of plan for the EV operations in Querétaro

Ensures regulatory compliance with all aspects of Safety and Environmental for the Querétaro site.

Ensure direct /indirect report team is available 24/7 to lead an emergency response, through the technical training, timely coverage, and,fitness for duty programs 

Ensure the company safety policies and written programs are current, up to date and  properly implemented. 

Update policies and programs to new legislation as required. 

Maintains accident and OSHA log databases. 

Prepares statistical presentations for meeting  presentation and postings  for the EV operations in Querétaro

Interface closely with Health Care Professionals to develop wellness  and prevention programs  for the EV operations in Querétaro. 

Coordinate the EHS team activities to provide support for  for the EV operations in Querétaro

 Report performance trends to management and corporate on regular basis  for the EV operations in Querétaro

Manage incident investigation and  for the EV operations in Querétaro

Attend internal and external visits, inspections and audits related to EHS. 

Promote improvement actions by improvement IDEAS program and makes sure their team participates

Collaborate on recordable injuries investigations and coordinate the development and  implementation of robust corrective and preventive actions to ensure zero repetition.

 Ensures implementation of the Safety strategy and the execution of plan for  the organization  for the EV operations in Querétaro

Actively guide and participate in all efforts to promote safety awareness and increase  proficiency in safe work practices.

Ensures implementation of the Safety strategy and the execution of plan for  the organization  for the EV operations in Querétaro. 

Support and positively affect the work environment by providing employee safety  recognition programs.

Follow BRP values and behaviors

SKILLS:

Safety management (legal and corporate requirements)

Internal and external control for inspections and audits

Emergency Response Management

Risk management and H&S targets

Electromobility Safety


PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

5 years in: Environmental, Health and Safety Management

LANGUAGE:

Fluent in Spanish  written and verbal.

English advanced (Min. 80%) written specially

French or german is an advantage.
