Essential Responsibilities:
Support EHS program initiatives, policies, and practices to drive compliance with regulations and company policies.Assist in ergonomic and Lean process improvements and EHS-related projects.Lead and support training initiatives for assemblers, operators, and technicians.Provide technical guidance and training to employees, customers, and contractors in all areas of environment, health, and safety.Maintain knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, and ASTM rules and standards.Facilitate EHS meetings and training; coordinate and manage meetings focusing on injury reduction, injury prevention activities, and continuous improvement.Administer and conduct safety employee engagement activities.Support injury reporting, safety concerns, communication of best practices, and data entry into company systems.Schedule and conduct regular inspections and track closure of identified areas of improvement.Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health or a related field (Or High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of experience in an EHS role)Desired Characteristics:
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and Gensuite.Previous experience with cranes and rigging.Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.OSHA 30 certification preferred.Strong project management skills; ability to plan, lead, organize, and manage multiple priorities.Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization and external partners.Demonstrated leadership in process improvement.Ability to learn computer systems quickly.Experience across multiple workstations within assigned production line.Self-starter with high energy and a desire for continuous improvement.Effective problem identification and solution skills.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Proven ability to be self-directed and identify improvement processes.Ability and willingness to work effectively in a team setting and across functional teams.Customer service-oriented, responsive to the needs of internal/external customers.The base pay range for this position is $77,900.00-$116,900.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for variable incentive compensation of 10%.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
