EHS Coordinator

We are looking for an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator to join our Grand Prairie, TX team!

As our EHS Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring site compliance for our EHS programs at Grand Prairie, TX and our sister site, Houston, TX.

Location: Grand Prairie, TX

Salary: $23-$27/hour

Your Challenge

Administration of our EHS programWorking with regulatory bodies (EPA, Hazardous Waste Programs)Creating and distributing work instructions to front line staff Reporting on matters concerning accidents involving property damage, serious injuries and the findings pertaining to equipment accidents, incidents and near misses. Thorough knowledge of fundamentals of safety education, industrial hygiene, accident prevention and safety psychology.

What You Bring

Bachelors or Associates specializing in Environmental Health and Safety, or the equivalent experience2-4 years of EHS experienceGood written and verbal communication skillsExcelled computer skills – MS office and ability to quickly learn our internal programsAbility to travel to Houston one week per month (25-30% travel per month)
