EHS and Rail Safety Advisor

Transform the everyday through your role in creating sustainable transport solutions.

In this role you will:

Provide EHS and Rail Safety support across construction, testing, and commissioning phases for the Sydney Metro Western Sydney Airport Project. Promote a continuous improvement culture and implement best practice management systems. Monitor daily site tasks and advise on risks and controls. Ensure compliance with company procedures and legislative requirements for health and safety. Manage subcontractor compliance and WHS induction/training. Conduct audits, investigate incidents, and coordinate return-to-work activities. Monitor Rollingstock Operations compliance under ONRSR Accreditation. Conduct site inspections with stakeholders to ensure safe workplaces and system compliance. Support flexible work hours during testing and commissioning phases.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Minimum Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety. ICAM training (preferred). White Card and RISI Card (preferred). Identified Rail Safety Worker status. Experience working with complex stakeholders. Open, approachable personality and a flexible, self-directed work style.
