EHS Analyst

The primary role of this position is to administer and monitor the Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Software Solution system while also playing a key role in handling the transition to a new EHS software platform. This individual will support system operations, provide end-user training, and supervise internal EHS data reporting, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for key collaborators across the organization. The software is deployed across multiple global business units, requiring close collaboration with local end-users, EHS leaders, IT, and the vendor to ensure smooth operation and continuous improvement.

 

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Transition to New EHS Software Solution

Coordinate with internal IT and external vendor(s) to facilitate a smooth transition to a new EHS software platform. Serve as the main point of contact for regular project updates and communication related to the transition. Support data migration, system configuration, and testing to ensure accuracy and functionality before deployment. Develop and deliver training programs for internal end-users to ensure effective adoption of the new software. Act as a resource for solve and user support during and after the transition process.

EHS Software System Administration & Support

Serve as a technical resource sharing a point of view and guidance to EHS leaders and global users on the EHS software solution. Provide support for business users, addressing issues in a timely manner and performing fix, investigation, and resolution of system performance issues. Maintain and administer the EHS Software Solution environment, including periodic maintenance activities (e.g., user IDs, password changes, disaster recovery testing, change management, server patching, etc.). Support vendor and system relationships by managing communication with the EHS software account representative team.

Data Management & Reporting

Own and maintain internal EHS data, ensuring data integrity and consistency across all business units. Generate and distribute monthly EHS performance reports for key collaborators across the organization. Develop and maintain dashboards that provide real-time insights into safety performance, compliance metrics, and other key indicators.

Process Improvement & Training

Contribute to continuous process improvement efforts by implementing system enhancements and standard methodologies under documented revision control. Develop and maintain system procedures and user documentation to improve efficiency and knowledge sharing. Deliver training and knowledge transfer sessions to EHS team members and system users globally as required.
    Who You Are:   For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Environment, Health and Safety or a related field is required. BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science or related area is required. Experience in Environment, Health and Safety or a related field is strongly preferred. Written and verbal proficiency in English 1-2 years of experience in EHS tracking tools, business analytics, and/or IT application and software support  Experience with direct customer interaction, and guidance on system use; best practice methods Maintain a general understanding of EHS laws and regulations.
  Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Third party software vendor(s) Application support and software system support experience is a plus  Exposure to requirements gathering and configuration change to promote user experience and system improvements Experience with direct customer interaction, and mentorship on system use; standard methodology methods Understanding of current EHS laws and regulations
