Be a part of a culture that doesn't just wait for change but actively creates itwhere your skills and values drive our collective progress and impact. **GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES** Identify gaps, develop action plans, and implement corrective actions to optimize the site's environmental systems and environmental program. Liaise with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with environmental requirements. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** 1. Participate in internal HSE audits 2. Manage PPE (glasses and shoes) 3. Schedule hazardous waste collections (send lists and accompany the supplier) 4. Calibrate gas detectors 5. Purchase safety equipment (researching gear) 6. Participate in HSE committees 7. Deliver basic HSE training to new employees and, occasionally, other training sessions 8. Participate in accident and incident investigations and analyses 9. Follow up on corrective actions identified during inspections, HSE meetings, or other opportunities 10. Conduct noise sampling 11. Collaborate with various departments on certain modifications (e.g., ergonomics) 12. Participate in the development and execution of emergency evacuation drills 13. Update KPI stats and charts 14. Provide HSE support to plant employees 15. Participate in the first response team 16. Ensure the safety data sheets (SDS) are up to date and manage WHMIS documentation 17. Enter data into the Cority EHS management software 18. Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements in a manufacturing environment 19. Contribute to the development and updating of work procedures 20. We care for and support one another. 6. **Results-Oriented** We consistently deliver the required business results, meet deadlines, and adhere to standards of quality, productivity, and performance. **JOB SPECIFICATIONS** **Knowledge/Qualifications:** + A college diploma in Environment, Health and Safety (EHS), or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required + Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a basic understanding of applicable federal and provincial laws + Fluency in spoken, written, and reading French required. English an asset + Motivation, positive attitude, attention to detail, and team spirit + Practical knowledge of relevant pharmaceutical industry regulations is an asset + Previous experience in managing hazardous materials and/or environmental programs + Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset **WORK CONDITIONS** Production, Engineering, Warehouse, Office We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
