Egress Technician - F-16 Contract Logistics Support (CLS) – Foreign Military Sales (IRAQ)
**Description** **Major Job Activities** Key Responsibilities: + 20% - Train, Advise, Assist, and Integrate IqAF Egress Shop operations with focus on egress system safety and aircraft readiness. + 25% - Maintain and repair aircraft egress systems including ejection seats, canopies, and explosive devices. + 15% - Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance; perform diagnostics and apply corrosion control and tests. + 10% - Ensure proper use of technical publications, schematics, and specifications and train IqAF accordingly. + 10% - Recommend process and procedural changes to improve safety and efficiency. + 10% - Document all maintenance actions and maintain accurate records to ensure compliance and training support. + 10% - Support team efforts and perform additional duties as assigned by Site Management. **Material & Equipment Directly Used** ACES II Ejection Seats, canopy and explosive system tools, corrosion control materials, safety gear, technical manuals. **Working Environment** Deployed maintenance environment; exposure to explosive materials; team-based international setting. **Physical Activities** Manual handling; confined space work; extended periods of standing and equipment servicing. **Qualifications** Education: USAF 7-skill level (Craftsman). Certifications: A&P certification preferred. Experience: 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in this specialty field. Other Requirements: U.S. Citizen; eligible for Secret clearance; willing to travel worldwide including the Middle East; experience with international partners preferred.
