JOB DESCRITPION
Within the Space Projects activity, the EEE parts requirements imply the monitoring of the activities related to the electronic units supply by verification and approval of the EEE components declared in the documentation (DCL – List of EEE parts; PAD – Part Approval Document).
The monitoring of the suppliers/Subcontractors is supported by periodic meeting to verify the procurement documentation and compliance to contract/Project requirements.
For internal production the activity is aimed to support from the quality perspective the selection and procurement of the EEE to be procured and installed in Torino.
This activity is planned until the delivery of the products by specific Design Reviews.
The activity consists in:
Assess the Program requirements and contribute to release relevant documentationVerify the correct down-flow of requirements to suppliers and Subcontractors Verify the activity of the suppliers by review of EEE documentation and attendance to review and progress meetings with suppliers and Subcontractors as applicable.Discuss EEE approval in dedicated meetings with supplier and Customers (Parts Control Boards –PCB)Co-operate with PA managers and the Project team and inform the program in case of EEE criticalitiesProvides input to Progress ReportAttend Progress Meeting e Reviews with Customer as neededContribute to EEE related Non-conformity management and attendance to the Non-Conformance Review BoardReview and assessment of EEE test reports and failure analysisIssue and update the System Declared Component Lists and PAD Status ListSupport Engineering and other function for the selection of the EEE parts installed on thermal controls, harnesses…in Torino and contribution to discussion with EEE manufactures and problem solving in case of NCRs.JOB OUTPUTS
Preparation of EEE documentation for reviews and PCBs (Declared component list, PAD status, PADs…)Minute of meetings of Parts Control BoardsInput to project level documentation (PA plan, PA requirements, proposal…)PLANNED TRAVELS
Travel required within TAS in Italy and Europe, as well as at Subcontractors and Customer facilities.
REQUIRED SKILL
Knowledge of quality processes
Proper knowledge of EEE space quality systems (ESCC, NASA, MIL)
Proper knowledge of EEE technology
