eDrive system engineering role is the go-to person to lead system engineering and issue resolution. A problem-solving superhero, a system engineer manages intricate systems to address substantial issues related to various systems and sub systems.
This position also requires management of everything from the inception of an idea to its realization. This role will solve problems, find new solutions, and build systems that fix things and reach goals for cost and quality.
You'll have...
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or similar discipline.
5+ years of edrive experience in an automotive domain.
Even better, you may have...
Master of Science degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or similar discipline.
Excellent financial acumen with proven experience of system and program delivery.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to interact effectively and present to executive level management.

What you'll do...
Lead eDrive system design and overall hybrid powertrain sub-system delivery (function, timing, cost, quality). Responsible to lead system issue resolution getting to optimum enterprise solution balancing attributes of several cross-functional activities including weight, cost and durability. Ability to resolve complex technical issues. Manage cross functional issues with suppliers, component engineers, calibration, and manufacturing teams. Manage program deliverables, system engineering responsibilities working with various stakeholders. Identify investment and contribution cost opportunities via internal benchmarking and global leverage and optimize manufacturing footprint on cost and flexibility. Ensure programs meet cost objectives (Contribution, F&T, Engineering, VT, etc) and adhere to timing objectives. Deliver UNSE quality and cost targets to achieve best in class status and competitive pricing.
