eDiscovery Operations Associate Manager
As an eDiscovery Operations Associate Manager, you will play a vital role within our eDiscovery Team, managing the use of Microsoft Purview for eDiscovery purposes and ensuring the consistent application of internal eDiscovery processes and procedures, facilitating discovery collaborations, and carrying out eDiscovery responsibilities in connection with litigation and government investigation matters and internal HR and Compliance investigations. In support of successful outcomes, primary responsibilities include collaborating with the legal team, internal and external legal counsel and preferred external litigation vendors, to ensure the use of eDiscovery and forensic best practices in a cost-effective manner. This is a remote role, and you must be based in the United States. **What you will do:** **eDiscovery Technology, Process Management and Innovation** + Serve as organization subject matter expert and maintain expertise in Microsoft Purview application and developments and related technologies/applications. Collaborate and liaise with Microsoft 365 account partners on a routine basis. + Collaborate and seek opportunities to optimize and streamline eDiscovery processes, in particular with regard to content collection and the support of internal investigations. Maintain written documentation of eDiscovery processes and procedures. + Assist in efforts to improve current processes, identify new processes, technology system enhancements and shared best practices that improve eDiscovery task management requirements and responsibilities, such as legal hold/preservation and use of Microsoft 365 eDiscovery tools. + Serve as one of the primary legal partners for IT Infrastructure and Security in connection with records system changes and lifecycle management and coordination regarding impact of Microsoft 365 application changes on eDiscovery processes. **eDiscovery Tasks and Matter Management** + Collaborate with Legal and Compliance colleagues and IT partners to ensure use of eDiscovery best practices and cost-effective strategies across all litigation, government investigations and HR and Compliance investigations to support successful outcomes. + On an annual basis, develop, implement and deliver appropriate eDiscovery training and updates for Legal and Compliance colleagues and external counsel to ensure efficient interactions regarding key content identification. + Collaborate with department stakeholders, external counsel and vendor service providers to analyze and consistently update eDiscovery processes and procedures relating to all stages of the matter lifecycle including search, collection, review and export. + Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements and use of applications/technologies that promote efficiencies and cost reductions. **eDiscovery Vendor Management** + Support Manager, eDiscovery in strategic vendor management initiatives such as evaluating and engaging preferred eDiscovery and forensics service providers or other department-identified cost savings initiatives and spend analysis/reporting. + Promote and grow relationships with external eDiscovery and forensics vendors and legal service providers and collaborate with regard to eDiscovery best practices and procedures. + Participate in the development of strategies to understand, utilize and implement innovative eDiscovery solutions that use technology to quickly and efficiently identify key content within each matter. + Collaborate in evaluating legal hold or other eDiscovery vendor providers, services or products relating to the collection, processing or analysis of content collected for litigation or investigation matters, including ensuring that the appropriate security and privacy assessment approvals are obtained. **What you'll need** **Required** + Bachelor's degree required + 6+ years of work experience required + Experience working with Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft PowerShell, and Microsoft Purview **Preferred** + eDiscovery certification or equivalent legal/IT experience preferred. + Demonstrated understanding of eDiscovery and forensic best practices, matter management, and applicable legal technology, e.g., Microsoft 365 and forensic tools. + Experience managing numerous projects and conflicting demands in fast-paced environment. + Experience working in large matrix organizations _$85,500 -1$82,200 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location.
